Our Location

Built on the grounds of the 19th century Pearl Cotton Mill nestled in the heart of historic Durham, our charming property is centrally located within a few minutes of Duke University and Duke Medical Center, and downtown Durham. It is also only a short drive from Research Triangle Park and many of the region's most-visited locations.

If you enjoy sightseeing on foot or by bicycle we’re within an easy walk of Duke's East campus, historic North Durham, Brightleaf Square, downtown and a quick bike ride to Duke's West campus, Sarah Duke Gardens, the Great American Tobacco Trail, Northgate Shopping Center and many areas of interest.

Duke Tower is easily accessible from all major roads and by public transportation. With our driving directions, you will have no trouble finding us. And, of course, you can always call and we will help you find the way.

By Car or Air

If you are driving, you can reach us easily from I-85, I-40 or Hwy 147. Or, if you are arriving by air to RDU, take a rental car or taxi to Duke Tower. See Driving Directions for detailed instructions based on your route.

Public Transportation

Bus transportation from Durham Area Transit is readily available from Duke Tower as well as easy access to Triangle bus service to Chapel Hill, Raleigh, Research Triangle and RDU airport. The Amtrak station is nearby for intercity or interstate travel.

Local Transportation

With our central location, you may avoid the expense of renting a car when you stay at Duke Tower. We’re conveniently located near downtown and it is a quick trip from our site to almost everything in Durham, including healthcare facilities, the Performing Arts Center and more. Many destinations are within walking distance.
