See driving directions for detailed instructions based on your route. Public Transportation Bus transportation from Durham Area Transit is readily available from Duke Tower as well as easy access to Triangle bus service to Chapel Hill, Raleigh, Research Triangle and RDU airport. The Amtrak station is nearby for intercity or interstate travel. We have also negotiated set rates for our guests when using taxi service to many points of interest in the Durham area.	Duke Tower Shuttle With rental car prices rising (recent surveys showed rental car prices averaged $346/week!), you may be able to avoid the expense of renting a car when you stay at Duke Tower... For our hotel guests, we offer a free, 24-hour shuttle to Duke (East and West Campus), Duke Medical Center, Durham VA hospital and Durham Regional Hospital. The Duke Tower shuttle can stop at other popular destinations along the way, including the historic Brightleaf Square restaurant district and shops, Whole Foods market and the Ninth Street shopping and dining area. We provide free transportation to Durham special events, including Duke football and basketball games, Durham Bulls games at Durham Athletic Park, Durham Performing Arts Center and American Tobacco Campus concerts. Unfortunately, we cannot provide service to shopping malls. For that, we recommend a local taxi service. Our wheelchair-accessible 14-person bus can provide transportation to those in wheelchairs or who are unable to use our shuttle car. Airport Service We provide shuttle service to/from Raleigh-Durham International Airport at the very reasonable price of $35 for the first person and only $5 for each additional person.
